Robert Murphy, M.D.

Dr. Murphy is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Clinical Coordinator of the AIDS Biopsychosocial Center at Northwestern University Medical School. He is also Medical Director of the AIDS and STD Clinics, as well as an Attending Physician, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. In addition to HIV/STD medical education and training, caring for HIV-infected patients and directing large HIV and STD clinics, Dr. Murphy is actively involved in HIV/AIDS research, including that of ocular complications of AIDS. He serves as a member of the AIDS Advisory Committee for the Chicago Board of Education, and of the Mycosis/Protozoan Pathogen Study Group, AIDS Clinical Trials Group at the National Institutes for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
