It's time to get to the bottom of a very important issue: your butt. Demetre Daskalakis, M.D., has a few notes for all those, especially gay men, who are wondering what it means to have good anal health.

If you use your butt for sex at all, then it's important to get it checked by a care provider.

"You need to be screened for sexually transmitted infections, and that doesn't just mean peeing in a cup," Daskalakis explains. "It means getting your butt swabbed and your throat swabbed."
