PCR RNA HIV + P24 Antigen

Question

I've been on a risk exposure a few weeks ago. 3 days after this event, I felt unpleasant symptoms and after doing tests I found being with chlamydia. I was desperate. I did a PCR RNA quantity test 13 days after exposure (negative). I did a HIV test P24 antigen and antibody 1-2 (negative). But I'm with unpleasant symptoms such as night sweats for 20 days and probelams skin. What is the reliability of these tests in your opinion?

Answer

Hi there,

Those tests are accurate. I would go in for a final antibody test at 90 days just to be sure. I am confident the results will be negative from this incident.
