I am worried to death. Last night I had sex with someone from Africa. We used a condom however it slipped off right after we first started. we reapplied after about 15-20 seconds and finished the act. I think the only thing that could have been on the condom was a little bit of pre-ejaculation but I didn't see any if there was some on there. What do you think the chances are that I may have contracted HIV/AIDs? He said he didn't have any diseases but I know the risk in Africa is extremely high.
Thanks for your question,
Honestly, I'm a little confused on what you're describing.. What creates risk in a sexual situation is if someone is inside someone else (if you understand me). 15-20 seconds is an incredibly short period of time to transmit. Particularly if there isn't much fluid yet.
You risk sound very low.
Hope this helps,
P.S. As helpful as it can feel, whether or not someone is from Africa (the entire continent?) won't tell us anything about your risk. It's about what you did sexually with your partner.
