I've been on Genvoya since March 2016 and was undetectable within a month. Recently, in December 2018, my VL was 250 on lab test (I realized my vitamin was having interactions with the Genvoya. In January, the VL went down to 50. March 4, VL was at 20. March 28, VL was 110. CD4 on the last test was 1080 (36%) What could be wrong? Why is my VL not suppressed? I've been checked for other infections and nothing is going on.
I understand your concern, but on the whole your HIV treatment response has been fabulous and you have a normal CD4 count and percent. I would also make sure you are not taking any other medications or over the counter products that could interact with Genvoya. As long as you are taking Genvoya as prescribed, I don't think this is a sign of treatment failure, and I think this will calm down and you will get back to being undetectable again soon.
