HIV/STDs risk during "Transsexual Encounter"

Question

I read up on this but am making sure - I recently had an encounter with a transsexual prostitute. Mutual covered oral and mutual masturbation. I have eczema on my hands. Was I ever at risk? Do I need to get tested, or should I forget about it and move on?

Answer

Thanks for your question,

First off, it doesn't matter whether your sex partner was transsexual or not. It's not helpful to know someone's gender-sex combo when assessing your risk.

If everything you did was covered then you had no real skin-to-skin contact with each other. Therefore there was no risk for STDs. We already know there's no risk for HIV because there's no body fluids present.

Hope this helps.
