HIV patients suffering for cuts and blood loss

Nicking oneself is quite common. What are the risks of such a common injury when it happens to an HIV positive patient? ODes the HIV positive person have to take speial care to prevent infections from the cut? What about the few drops of blood spilled? Will that blood pose risk of infecting a by stander? If yes, in what ways should the spille dblood be taken care of?

Hi Any type of blood spill from someone known to have HIV or not should be cleaned up this same way. Bleach and towels. HIV dies once it is outside of the body, standing blood would have to have a direct exchange of body fluid with someone else.

The chances of infection happening this way is highly unlikely.
