I have been positive since 2002. I have been on various regimens over time and my numbers have been good and even improved over time, but have had changes due to side effects. I am currently on Stribild and have osteopenia. My doctor would like me to switch to Genvoya or Biktarvy. Both are covered by insurance. Is there any reason to choose one over the other? Might the lack of CBT in Biktarvy be a deciding factor?
Perhaps. Cobicistat, present in Stribild and Genvoya, but not in Biktarvy, has the potential to have drug interactions with other kinds of medications you could be taking now or in the future.
