53 yo in great health. avid lifter who uses runs trt doses of testosterone and does a couple of blasts a year with other steroids. Never had issues with bloodwork before but this year Hemoglobin was above range 18.5(range 14-18.1) as well as PVC blood 54% (range 41-49%)...Thinking donating blood may help but my doc doesn't seemed convinced. He says I should stop the testosterone. Is there a place where HIV people can give blood? Blood pressure, cholestrol and all other numbers are good. Thanks for any advice.
You will need a prescription for a therapeutic phlebotomy since our blood is hazardous waste. Any blood center can process the prescription.

Hopefully, your doctor can write you that script. Hematocrit over 53 can increase risks for a heart attack and stroke.
