Core List of Sources on AIDS and HIV
from HIV/AIDS Information: Putting the Pieces Together Workshop Manual
The concept of a core collection may be unfamiliar to readers. It is based on the idea that certain books, video and magazines make up the "core" of information about a certain topic. The following listings provide an overview of the various components needed for a core collection of HIV/AIDS information. Material included is intended for the largest possible audience. Some material for specific audiences is included. It is important to remember this is not intended to provide a comprehensive overview. AIDS information published before 1990 should be considered retrospective in nature and for that reason is not included in this listing. Additional information on these and other HIV specific topics is available from:

The National AIDS Clearinghouse produce timely and relevant bibliographies on specific AIDS related topics.
