Hi there, thank you for taking the time to read my post. My little girl was climbing on a surface when we were out 10pin bowling and I noticed what looked like dried blood on the surface she had been climbing on! I then noticed she had a tiny spot of blood on her lip where I can only assume she had bit her lip! I do suffer from health anxiety and am now worried about the risks of her contracting HIV from this situation would be? Please please respond as I really do get very worked up about these things. P.s this is the second time I have posted this but I have had no response..
If you suffer from regular health anxiety, that's something you should address soon. Regular stress of that type can definitely make you feel unwell when it's so intense.
It may also make it hard to believe that no-risk situations are actually no-risk situations.
You haven't received a response because your question has been addressed countless times in our forum. I understand the intense need to get a personalized answer though. But, the answer doesn't change. When blood has been out of the human body for any amount of time (like the amount of time it takes someone to bleed and walk away), the it is no longer able to infect.
Hope this helps,
