Are some people immune or whatever to hiv because my dads had it know 21 years and has had not been sick once and also the virus has been detected but thiers been no problems it hasn't at all it's kinda wierd give me an better understanding???

Answer

The vast majority of people will have a seropositve HIV test three months after being infected.

We know that some people become HIV+ bet don't become sick, even after many years. These people are referred to as non-progressors. It is not known why some people get sick quickly and others don't.
