Postcards From the Edge
Postcards from the Edge 2005 will be held at Robert Miller Gallery, 524 W. 26th Street, New York, NY. There will be a Preview Party on October 16, 2005 from 6 pm - 8 pm. The Preview party is the only way to get a sneak peek and see the entire show. There is $50 cover at the door that includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win first selection of artwork. Participating artists may attend for free. Benefit sale will be Monday, October 17 from 6 pm - 9 pm and continue Tuesday, October 18 from 10 am - 5 pm. The event is always first-come, first-served. All works are only $50 each and displayed anonymously. Artists' names revealed only after purchase. Robert Blanchon Estate Project Update
Visual AIDS was recently awarded a grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in support of the production and publication of the first and only comprehensive monograph of the late photo-based, conceptual artist Robert Blanchon. Keep Making Art
Visual AIDS distributed Materials Grants to 18 Archive Project artists in the June 2005 round. This year, 46 artists in all received Materials or Emergency Grants.
Materials Grants are available to artists of the Frank Moore Archive Project who are living on low incomes. Grants are distributed as gift certificates or store credit at art and photography stores. Artists can apply for up to $300. The next round will be distributed in December 2005. Download a PDF application at: www.thebody.com/visualaids/images/grants.pdf.
Emergency Grants are available on a limited basis to all members of the Archive Project. Please contact the staff for more information.

Porno Bingo
Will Clark and friends of the Ninth Avenue Bistro raised $600 for Visual AIDS at Porno Bingo on August 3, 2005. Will Clark also celebrated his 10 years-in-porn anniversary with performances by The Glamazons, Body Art by Spike, and giveaways galore, along with donated artwork by Michael Harwood, Philip Calkin, Darrell Jones and Kim Hanson.
