Sarawut Chutiwongpeti's video project will be broadcast from Stockholm as "Real-Time" to various museums, including nine regional museums in Sweden; Kiasma, Helsinki; Museet For Samtidskunst; Atelier Nord, Oslo and collaborating institutions in London and NYC. The work will be distributed via the internet in a special co-operation with Telia/Sonera, supported by European Union and Nordic Institute For Contemporary Art (2004).

Richard Sawdon-SmithRichard Sawdon-Smith was selected as the United Kingdom winner in the "One Vision" European Photographic Competition. HIV advocates and dignitaries from the world of photography gathered in Paris at the Palais de Tokyo to award prizes to the European and national winners. www.onevision2004.org.

Ferenc Suto was awarded a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Artists' Fellowship for 2004. Over 4,700 artists applied for the 2004 NYFA Fellowships, and this year 148 fellowships were awarded to New York State artists. www.nyfa.org/nyfa_artists_detail.asp?pid=5189.

Luna Luis OrtizLuna Luis Ortiz is featured in the July issue of BLUE magazine. His work was also published in NYU's Brownstone magazine. He is continuing to work with House of Frame by Frame Fierce partner, Shawn Atkins on an animated DL short and concluded filming "The Julie Story," a documentary short about a 16-year-old transgender girl coming to terms with her family, society, and how she finds hope in the NYC Ballroom scene. Luna Luis Ortiz has also won Mother of the Year 2004 as the Mother of the House of Khan, NYC Chapter. The film "How Do I Look," directed by Wolfgang Busch and featuring Ortiz is being screened in Chicago. www.howdoilooknyc.org

Kevin Wesley was accepted into the MFA Graduate Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, (UNLV) in the fall 2004.

Frank Jump has opened The Fading Ad Gallery on Myrtle and Bedford and is featuring Jump's photography through October 2004. Frank Jump is an educator, artist, and activist who is celebrating living 20 years with HIV/AIDS. The Fading Ad Gallery is located at 679 Myrtle and 880 Bedford Avenues on the borders of Clinton Hill/So. Williamsburg/Bushwick/Bed-Stuy/Navy Yard-Wallabout.

Chet Holcomb is training for his third marathon through the National AIDS Marathon Training Program. Funds raised will benefit The Whitman Walker Clinic of Washington, DC. Holcomb will be running in the in the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 7, 2004. For each donation of $50 or more Holcomb will be sending out one print from an edition of artwork that has been created for this cause. To make a donation, use participation # DC-3250. Gregory MaskwaGregory Maskwa's painting, "Mystic Morning," will be the grand prize in this year's Maison La Paix art raffle. The organization provides supportive housing for people living with HIV/AIDS in Sudbury. The painting will be on display at Black Cat Too! throughout the summer. The drawing will be held on September 1, 2004. Maskwa was also interviewed in the Sudbury Star and another interview is to follow in the French newspaper La Voyager.
