Announces New HIV/AIDS Treatment Education Manual The National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC), in collaboration with Gay Men's Health Crisis, has developed a new HIV/AIDS treatment education manual to assist frontline community-based AIDS workers and organizations. The manual offers a comprehensive description of current HIV/AIDS treatment options, effective educational programs for CBOs, current information about HIV/AIDS research and the status of new HIV/AIDS drugs in the United States. The manual is easy to read and offers step by step strategies for organizing and implementing quality HIV/AIDS treatment education programs. An overview of the manual and glossary of terms are also provided in Spanish.
