Often it is the grandmothers who take care of the kids. Emma
Nance takes care of young Tiffany who is living with AIDS. Tiffany's
mom, an IV drug user and prostitute died last year while still
active. She just couldn't beat her addiction and her feelings
of guilt.
Emma forgives her daughter her tough life and takes care of
Tiffany with excesses of love and encouragement.
She says: "Give all that you can and all that you have.
And if that some day comes, you can smile and say, 'They
knew I cared'".
