History of Lipoatrophy

When HIV-positive people first started showing symptoms of lipoatrophy in the late 1990s, Dr. Bob Frascino witnessed the changes first-hand -- not only in his patients, but also in himself, as he's been living with HIV since 1991. Dr. Frascino recalls lipoatrophy's early years, when few doctors realized the impact of their patients' shrinking faces and bodies.

Wondering how to to put The Body's podcast on your iPod?  

For a PC:

  1. Right-click on the link to listen to the podcast.

  2. Choose "Save Target As ..."

  3. Choose where you'd like the podcast saved and what you would like it called, just as you would with any other file type.

  4. Wait for the download to complete. Speed will depend on your connection.

  5. Open iTunes.

  6. Click and drag the newly downloaded file into your iTunes library.

  7. The next time you update your iPod, The Body's podcast will be copied from your library.


For a MAC:

  1. Click on the link to listen to the podcast.

  2. When the file has finished loading, choose "Save As ..." from the "File" menu.

  3. Choose where you'd like the podcast saved and what you would like it called, just as you would with any other file type. Since the file has already been fully loaded, saving should be almost instantaneous.

  4. Open iTunes.

  5. Click and drag the newly downloaded file into your iTunes library.

  6. The next time you update your iPod, The Body's podcast will be copied from your library.
