    A worldwide organization offering a self-help recovery program for families and friends of alcoholics whether or not the alcoholic seeks help or even recognizes the existence of a drinking problem.

    Hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    Serving the United States, Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam
    Offers three-way calling and communication in 140 languages.

  • Covenant House Nineline/Crisis Intervention Center:

    Hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

    Serving all youth in crisis, but especially homeless youth and runaways.

  • The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender National Youth Talkline:

    Hours: Monday through Saturday from 9:30 pm to 12:00 am (Eastern Time)
    A non-profit organization which provides nationwide toll-free peer-counseling, information and referrals for young people. On their off-hours, you can call the Gay and Lesbian National Hotline.
