Joel E. Gallant, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Gallant is co-author, with John G. Bartlett, of the Medical Management of HIV Infection, which is updated annually. He is an associate editor of The Hopkins HIV Report and serves on the editorial board of the Johns Hopkins AIDS Service Web site, where he conducts interactive question-and-answer forums on HIV disease for patients and clinicians. Dr. Gallant received his medical degree at the University of California-San Francisco. He completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, in New Haven, Conn. He received his master's degree in public health at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, and completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and is a fellow in the American College of Physicians. |
