Leon E. Cosler, R.Ph., Ph.D.
Dr. Leon E. Cosler received his B.S. in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy in 1982. He went on to receive a M.S. in Pharmacy Administration from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in 1984. He received his doctorate in Administrative and Engineering Systems from Union College in 1992. Dr. Cosler joined the faculty of Albany College of Pharmacy in March 2001. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Research for the New York State Medicaid program. His interests include policy analysis, pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research. His experience includes the analysis of large patient claims databases with concentrations in the economics of HIV disease, and cancer chemotherapy.
