I know that you cannot confirm or rule out HIV infection by a CBC alone. But would something on a CBC during seroconversion give you a hint of possible seroconversion? If so, what would that indicator be? Thanks for your help.

Prior to testing +, would a "normal" cbc be indicative to a possible "mid-range" -- or -- is their no correlation?

Also, what is deemed as chronic ARS -- in the forum's they seem to use this terminology with defining it...

The CBC is usually abnormal in people with HIV, especially those who have been infected for a long time. However, the abnormalities are rather general in nature, and cannot be used to predict an "upcoming OI".... Read more »

Findings on a CBC are very nonspecific and in and of themselves would not indicate HIV infection. Hundreds of different infections, and other medical diseases can cause abnormalities.... Read more »
