I am not sure we will have a "cure". Yes there are people who were infected 20 years ago. I have a few in my clinic. The oldest documented infection is hard to come by. That requires blood to have been stored and then retested for HIV...

Come on let's get real here. We have all had so called "unsafe " sex and most of us are still around. I have had sex without condoms for years and I remain healthy and happy. In fact condoms are toxic in themselves (some people have latex allergies)...
