What Is Epzicom? Epzicom is a pill that contains two drugs used to fight HIV: abacavir (Ziagen) and Epivir (lamivudine, 3TC). Epzicom is manufactured by ViiV Healthcare. Outside the US, it is called Kivexa. Generic versions have been tentatively approved under PEPFAR (see Fact Sheet 475 ). If you have hepatitis B and HIV Truvada may be a better option for you that Epzicom. Truvada is a combination of two HIV medications: tenofovir (Viread) and emtricitabine (Emtriva). Both of those drugs have been found to be quite effective... Read more »

If you had a DEXA scan for many areas and only have borderline osteoporosis in one arm that is not a cause for panic. I would have your FRAX score calclulate as well as vitamine D levels (and testosterone if a male). Calcium and vitamin D... Read more »
