Prezista(daruanvir) can cause a skin rash (more common in persons with sulfa allergy) than can be very severe and even life threatening. A month of bumps as you describe seems less likely to be a drug rash and more likely a flare up of folliculitis... Read more »

The choice of a combination would have to be based on the past resistence that your virus may have developed. Tenofovir and abacavir together is an unusual combination, it's selection would have to be based on results of resistance testing... Read more »

Does anybody knows if kaletra's side effect is excesive diharrea.

My cousin has hiv-type 1 and we are giving him Kaletra but it is giving him a masive diharrea and he got a cut on his rectum.

Splitting Prezista 600mg into thirds...

I need to take Prezista 800mg. If I have only Prezista 600mg, can I brake the pill into thirds so I can take one 600mg and then add 200mg more from the splitting?
