That is a normal value. The usual way albumin level is usually expressed is g/dL. The normal range is about 3.2-5.0g/dL, with an average of 4.1/dL. So, 48g/L is the same as 4.8g/dL. Read more »

My Serum HIV test for Life insureance was negative, two weeks later i donated blood and was rejected because on my HIV anti-body test was positive. The Doc said my NAT showed negative for DNA results. Why am I getting different results?
