AIDS=No antibodies

Do the majority of people with AIDS or long term HIV have positive antibody tests or has their body lost all ability to produce antibodies? Would 3 years be long enough to totally deplete the body of antibodies?

Antibody production and timeframe

Ryan, I know that it can take up to 6 mos. to have enough antibodies to be detected -- However, once present, how long are the antibodies detectable? Forever? Please clarify. Thank you very much for this awesome service.
