If the warts are small, they may respond to topical therapy with imiquimod (Aldara). All other possible treatments may be painful. Warts can recur after laser treatment as well -- there is no ideal way of treating them so that won't happen....

I was first diagnosed w/ condyloma (Venereal warts) in the late 80's and had laser surgery to remove the stubborn critters. No re-occurances for a LONG time. I've noticed within the last 6 or 8 months they have definately come back! My cd4 dropped...
