During acute HIV infection, the most likely abnormality is a low lymphocyte count. Sometimes abnormal-looking lymphocytes can be seen. If you did a lymphocyte subset test, you would see that the CD4 (T4, helper cell) cells were low.... Read more »

I know that you cannot confirm or rule out HIV infection by a CBC alone. But would something on a CBC during seroconversion give you a hint of possible seroconversion? If so, what would that indicator be? Thanks for your help.

CBC and VL -- ?

Prior to testing +, would a "normal" cbc be indicative to a possible "mid-range" -- or -- is their no correlation?

Also, what is deemed as chronic ARS -- in the forum's they seem to use this terminology with defining it...
