Is there any way to get a test for HIV itself, rather than just the virus? I know it costs alot more but would there be any doctor's willing to perform this test, rather than wait the agonizing three months for a regular HIV antibody test result. Read more »

Other virus coinfection (not hcv) looked in archive can't find the answer...need to woo hoo..

Dear Doc RobCould being coinfected with another virus (besides hcv, which thanks to the archive I know the answer) cause delayed seroconversion. I was diagnosed with mono(ebv), and I believe I got it from an exposure that I am worried about...
