What Is Lopinavir? Lopinavir is a drug used as part of antiretroviral therapy (ART). It is manufactured by Abbott Laboratories. Lopinavir is a protease inhibitor. Hello - I am not HIV Positive - however i was treated with Kaletra as it was thought I may ahve ben exposed to HIV by means of sexual intercourse - I have since found out I was not infected with the virus, I only took the short course of the drug....

The effect of kaletra on lipid levels is relatively acute and generally fully reversible within 2-4 weeks after stopping. It is unlikely that the past short term use Kaletra is a factor in your current lipid elevations. KH... Read more »

Does anybody knows if kaletra's side effect is excesive diharrea.

My cousin has hiv-type 1 and we are giving him Kaletra but it is giving him a masive diharrea and he got a cut on his rectum.

He has diabetes is 44 yeras old. and all this is new for us... Read more »
