doc, Is there any way to prevent aids in people with hiv. i kno there isnt a cure but people who take their meds correctly will they die from aids? I heard oi's are rare now.

my partner is considering starting meds. he has had less than 3000 viral load last three tests, and CD 4 went from 340, 325, and last at 280. should he start just based on the cd 4 count, even though the viral load in 3000?
