A rash is associated with acute HIV infection in as many as 50% of cases. The rash usually does not itch, is distributed over the upper trunk and limbs, and might involve the palms and soles. It usually resolves within 1 to 2 weeks....

i have recently tested positive to hiv and also have a genetic disposition to keliod scaring... since reading alot of litreture on minor skin infections due to hiv... i am questioning if this scaring is due to the virus... has anyone else out there...
