Cytomegalovirus is a virus in the herpes virus family. 5-nucleotidase is a liver enzyme that when elevated in the blood, indicates some type of liver injury. This could be related to CMV infection.... Read more »

It is dangerous to encourage people to go without taking the anti-viral therapies. Not everyone can survive without them. I am happy for people who can, but there are many more who cannot and are having trouble being compliant with the medication... Read more »
