I had a high risk encounter 10-03, and tested negative with the EIA/ELISA tests several times out to 6 months. Now I am having seborrheic dermatitis and its making me doubt my tests. What do you all think? (oh and I have not had any more exposure) Read more »

HiSeborrheic dermatitis is a late symptom. Insertive anal sex is the highest risk behavior but having some protection decreases the chances. The only true way to know is for her to be tested. The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested... Read more »

Those fungal infections and seborrheic dermatitis are seen in the general population. Folliculitis seems more common in HIV infected persons. In my experience none of those conditions are very helpful in identifying recent HIV infection though... Read more »
