What Is Nelfinavir? Nelfinavir, also called Viracept, is a drug used as part of antiretroviral therapy (ART). It is manufactured by ViiV Healthcare. Nelfinavir is a protease inhibitor. I'm 25 I have been living with HIV since June 5th 2001. I've been taking Trizivir and Viracept for the past 4 months. The side effects have been a major pain I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come!!
