What you are describing is quite likely a condition that is called post-herpetic neuropathy that involves ongoing nerve irritation for the nerve coming out of the spinal cord that was involved with the rash you described. Even if the rash clears a... Read more »

Does anyone know how to prevent getting shingles the second time. I had them Dec 2010 . Now my face has healed but I was told I can get them again.
