Hi there. Is itching common during seroconversion? Right after infection, my palms and ankles were so itchy that I couldn't hardly stand it. The itching was intense when I was carrying something heavy (groceries) or around where my socks...

A transient skin rash plus hypersensitivity to scratching/pressure can be seen soon after initial HIV infection though in my experience is not very common. Hypersensitivity to insect bites seems more common in my experience. KH... Read more »

Typical seroconversion symptoms include fever, sore throat, swollen lymph glands, fatigue, aches and rash-- much the way someone with infectious mononucleosis would appear. However, there are a host of other symtpoms and conditions that have been... Read more »

Lip cancers

A couple of months ago I began to have a tingling sensation on the left side of my jaw when I touched my lower lip directly above. Since then then the tingling has progressed down to my adam's apple and is always present though it increases...
