Thrush?

Hi Doc,been poz for about 4 years now, im doing really well, i wake up some mornings with a tiny white spot on the same part of the gum,( i picked at this a lot , i know i shouldnt have.), i comes off easily, leaving no mark or no pain.my doc said...

You don't indicate what your CD4 count is or whether you are on HIV meds. The lower the CD4 count the greater the likelihood that mouth problems such as this could be thrush. It would be unusual for this to be thrush and only be in the one... Read more »

Tonsils & Thrush...

I recently have become concerned about a sexual encounter. I never paid attention to my tonsils but I noticed a white spot on them the other day. I pressed on the tonsil and a bunch of green stuff came out. I never had this happen to me before....

What you have described sounds much more like an infection of your tonsils than it does thrush. Please visit your primary care provider, as it appears you have an active infection that needs attention.DR... Read more »
