taking reyataz, norvir and truvada

one question doc, i just switch my hiv med to reyataz, norvir and truvada due to my rising viral load. what i would like to know, is can all three meds be taken at the exact same time or they have to be space apart?...

Thanks for the question.Yes, all of the meds can be taken at the same time. I would recommend this as long as they do not upset your stomach. Best to get them out of the way all at once.At the very least the Norvir and Reyataz should be taken... Read more »

Those recommendations are usually the first approach to lowering lipids. However, if that doesn't work in a few months, you could consider staying on that regimen and adding a statin and/or a fibrate, or changing your regimen to a more lipid... Read more »

Hi all. I just wanted to say that I was on this combo for about five years before severe mental torture forced me to stop the meds. I was fine for the first couple years then a slow progression of a mental fog (I can't really even call it a sadness)... Read more »

Med resistance on Norvir/Saquinivar..anyone else?

I have been on Norvir/Saquinavir for 7 years. Starting to show resistance. Panicking a little, they worked for so long,
controlled side effects. Doctor wants to do labs more frequently for now but not switch, maybe add another drug.
