Hi - my partner and I recently had sex, and 4 days later she had swollen glands/ sore throat and fever. I am HIV+ with VL of around 65000 last bloodwork, which was a week or so before the incident. Is 4 days too soon for the bosy to start showing...

Hi4 days is soon. Was the sex protected? If not it should be especially with your viral load where it is. There are studies showing that if we stay on our medications and keep our viral load at undetectable the chances of transmission are decreased... Read more »

i had vaginal sex with a girl, the condom fell off, was unprotected briefly.

4 days later i got a rash on my chest, lasted less than a day.

the next day i got prety sick, vomiting and diareaha, was just a 24 hour thing.

Doc called me today...DNA PCR and antibody negative @ 5.5 weeks. He says I'm done especially since I had PCR but I'm going to test elisa again @ 12 weeks. I guess I'm in a state of shock right now, it hasn't completely sunk in especially with all... Read more »
