I have not seen data that suggests that HIV+ patients are at that high of a risk for post-op infections. I have had numerous HIV+ patients undergo joint replacement surgery (and many other types of surgery including coronary bypass and transplants)... Read more »

What are the chances of infection from a onetime female to male exposure? It is now 2 1/2 yrs later and I think I'm experiencing lipodystrophy. I read on the body that this is most often caused by HIV medications but I swear it is happening to me.
