The only women-specific OIs associated with HIV are cervical cancer (not breast cancer) and recurrent candida vaginitis. Both of these problems can occur in HIV- women, of course, but they occur much more frequently in HIV+ women.... Read more »

At my wife's first pre-natal exam she was screened for HIV, and she tested positive. Saying this is a nightmare is an understatement.
