I would recommend seeing a dermatologist and discussing further with your HIV doc. The cause and treatment depends on the nature of your skin problems. HIV itself can aggravate many skin conditions (as dry skin, folliculitis, seborrhea). HIV meds... Read more »

Since being diagnosed with HIV I have experienced folliculitis. It has not responded to the antibiotics given by my dermatologist who seems to have given up on it. I am not on any meds yet. Is this something that we with HIV just have to live with? Read more »
