HIV+ for 20 years. d4t (zerit) is causing much painful neuropathy in hands/feet and a non-erectile penis. Already quit AZT and Crixivan.I am on abacavir+effavirenz+d4t+3tc. VRL:2000, CD8:350.Want to quit d4t but cannot find a substitute. peter

macrocytosis ?

my labs have been showing macrocytosis 2+ for at least 2.5yrs. And some above normal liver enzymes. What causes this and what results from it. Can anything be done.Hiv+ d4t,3tc,viracept, atenonal, lipitor,. Do drink alcohol.
