There was no risk here so I would not retest. Your risk of a false positive HIV test (which would unnecessarily freak you out) is higher than any risk (zero) that this event led to HIV infection.DW... Read more »

HiYou did the right thing by wearing a condom. Condoms are effective in the prevention of HIV transmission, as long as they are used correctly and do not break or slip off. Also if lubricant is used it must be water based.The testing guidelines for... Read more »
