Any reason to test after 13 weeks?

I tested just over 13 weeks after possible exposure.
The test machine was a 'VIDAS EIA'
Result was NEGATIVE.
Initial testing at 1 month revealed a Chlamydia infection

Are there any reeasons to test beyond that?
