I am not aware of any data to suggest that dengue would change the outcome of an HIV test. However, I suspect there is little information about that. HIV ELISA are ALWAYS confirmed by a Western Blot.... Read more »

I do not know of any information of false positives with Orasure related to HCV. In matter of fact I would strongly doubt that since so many patients with HIV have HCV - the test accuracy would be terrible if that were the case.Anyone with a... Read more »

Good news, having Hepatitis C does not affect the results of an HIV test. With a negative result at your 22 week test, you are HIV negative, as long as there were no other risks of transmission during this time. If there were then you need to be... Read more »
