peripheral neuropathy?????

I was diagnosed with hiv 4 years ago. My t-cell when first diagnosed was 300 put got on meds and numbers jumped up to 750. I have stayed on meds and numbers have stayed betwwen 700 - 800. I am on atripla at the moment and have never had any side...

Atripla overall has a low rate of peripheral neuropathy. The foot pain you describe (acute and short in duration first in one foot and then the other) does't sound much like either HIV associated or drug related peripheral neuropathy. Concern... Read more »

It could actually spread to involve your upper legs, and even involve your hands...Most or all of the symptoms can often be reversed, but the sooner you get off the drug the better. This being said, if this choice is not available to you, staying... Read more »

been have burning thigling in my hand and foot it come and go not on any hiv meds as of now but will start meds soon. anything a home i can help stop this form happen i will see my dr in 2week should be worry about in a great way or just cool out...
