I was diagnosed two months ago.My CD4 count dropped below 200 weeks ago. and it was 350 in September last year. I know I was infected in August 2005. I don't have any diseases yet and feel very healthy, no coughs, no fever, nothing.

Since then I have regularly checked my situation having always high VL (from 60K to 240K) and high CD4 (from 750 to 1000).
My last analysis are VL: 200K and CD4: 907.

dropping by this bulletin-board, I see there is a lot of use and abuse of t-cell subsets among worried wells. To put things in perspective - cd4/cd8-ratios were used as a surrogate marker of HIV-infection among blood donors at a US hospital... Read more »
