Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS)

These treatments only deal with the skin lesions, not with KS overall. Skin lesions may come back after treatment. If KS has spread into internal organs, systemic (whole-body) drug treatment is used. If ART is not enough, the drugs doxorubicin (Doxil) daunorubicin (DaunoXome) or paclitaxel (Taxol) may be added. Doxil and DaunoXome are anti-cancer drugs in "liposomal" form. Is my partner's bruise -like patch Kaposi's?

I recently noticed a bruise like patch on a new sex partner and wondered if it could be Kaposi's Sarcoma. It is large, on his thigh and looks like a bruise. It has been there for at least 2 weeks. I am unsure of his hiv status....

i have read that kaposi sarcoma can present itself at any stage of HIV infection, this is IF i was infected which everyone i'v spoken to is convinced i havent.
